My
name is Cheryl Derrington and I am the Think Tank
Coordinator. The Think Tank is a hands-on science and math
enrichment lab. This is my 12th year at Northwood Hills
and I can't think of any place I would rather be. I love
my job and I love your children.
I
spent two years of my elementary years in England and
completed my elementary and junior high years in Del Rio,
Texas. I graduated from A.N. McCallum High School in
Austin, Texas and attended the University of Texas at
Austin.
My
professional background is in banking. I served as
vice-president of banks in San Antonio and Plano. After
taking 10 years off from my professional career to be home
with my son, I decided to go back to work. My position at
NHE allows me to keep mother's hours instead of banker's
hours.
I
have been married to my husband, Chris, for 26 years. We
have a son, Kyle, and daughter Kristy and son-in-law
Jeremy. Kristy and Jeremy are the proud parents of Miller,
our precious grandson.
