Hi,

My name is Janet Ellis. I've been the Physical Education teacher at Northwood Hills Elementary since the spring of 2001. I've had the honor of being a parent and a teacher at NHE. I attended elementary through high school in DISD where I developed my love for sports and physical activity. I participated in track and field, choir, modern dance, and band: marching, jazz and concert. I attended Wiley College in Marshall, Texas, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. My husband and I have two wonderful daughters, who are active in both volleyball and basketball. I really enjoy working with children and encouraging them to move and stay active.
