Hello!
My name is
Kinsey Armbrister and I am the 4th grade math
teacher here at Northwood Hills. I feel very lucky to
be apart of the great NHE family. I can’t wait to see
what my first year as a teacher holds for me! I am a
2007 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin,
where I spent four incredible years. Hook ‘Em! In my
spare time you will find me watching our great football
team. I’m hoping for another championship!
I grew up in
Plano and attended Plano West Sr. High. I love
everything about the Dallas area. My parents still
reside in Plano in the same house I grew up in. It’s
nice to stop by home for some of my Mom’s cooking every
now and then! I have an older brother who lives in
Houston with his wife and their baby girl. I am the
proud Aunt of my 1st niece, Lucy! She is 5
months old and already has me wrapped around her finger.
I now reside
in the Uptown area. It is a fun place to live with lots
of activities going on. I enjoy trying new restaurants
and seeing live music in the area. My friends and I
have joined a kickball league at a local park and hope
to be winning some games come September!
This year in
math we are going to be learning lots of new things. We
will be working with large numbers, decimals, fractions,
