I am beginning my eighteenth year of teaching in RISD.  Twelve of them have been at Northwood Hills.  I have taught third, fourth and sixth grades.  It has been a pleasure to get to know many families and teach outstanding children, many of whom stay in touch with me.

Memphis , Tennessee is my birthplace, but after about thirty-five years in Texas , I consider Dallas my home.  I have three sons who are grown with precious wives, and I have six grandchildren.  I usually have pictures to show off, so come see the latest photos.

I graduated from East Texas State University (now Texas A&M Commerce) in 1990.  I spent my first five years of teaching at Yale Elementary in RISD.

I am excited about the 2007-2008 school year.  I look forward to getting to know new students and saying hello to many whom I had a couple of years ago in fourth grade.
