I
am beginning my 14th year with RISD and I have
been with Northwood Hills as a second grade teacher for
the last ten years. I believe that second grade is
absolutely the best grade to teach. It is such a precious
age and the children are so ready and willing to learn.
That is what makes my job so rewarding.
I
was born in
Casper
,
Wyoming
but have lived in
Texas
for most of my life. I am fortunate to have traveled
extensively in Europe and the Far East and still have a
bug to visit
New Zealand
and
Australia
.
I
have three grown children and one precious grandson. I am
fortunate to have two of my three kids living close by. My
youngest daughter is living in
Germany
at the present time but will be returning to the States
soon.
I
am excited about my new class and I am looking forward to
getting to know them as well as their families.
