We had a great first week of school with our 393 students! Thank you to Stacy Birkhold (Emma’s mom) and her team for organizing our school supply sale! Thank you also to our wonderful PTA for re-modeling our Teacher’s Lounge! Jill Chris (Sydney’s mom) and Melanie Carsey (Sarah’s mom) worked hard painting, arranging, rearranging and shopping. As a result we have a beautiful place for our dedicated staff.

Remember that RISD policy prohibits any adult from entering the building without signing in at the office. Beginning this week, we will enforce this policy before school and after school, as well as during the day. If you need to reach your child’s teacher please call the school office, email or call them. We want to be easy to communicate with as well as ensure the safety of our students.

When dropping students off in the morning, please pull all the way up in the inside lane. There will be adults and safety patrols out front to assist. Do not drop students off from the middle, moving lane of traffic.
