The Weekly Falcon

Northwood Hills Elementary School

Mackie Kazdoy, principal

Today is the day to join the NHE PTA! Don't wait this year to join because the grade level with the highest percentage of membership by OCTOBER 1st, wins an ICE CREAM PARTY! Extra forms are in the school office. You can send them back to school with your students. Check the bright green poster in the main hall each week to see who to beat. 6th grade leads now with 49%!
When dropping students off in the morning, please pull all the way up in the inside lane. There will be adults and safety patrols out front to assist. Do not drop students off from the middle, moving lane of traffic. Thank you for helping keep our students safe.
Please bring your paper to be recycled at our school. Not only is it good for the environment, but our school receives money for each pound recycled. That money is then used for materials and staff development to enhance our instruction. Ask your neighbors to bring their paper goods, too!
School Night for Scouting will be tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the NHE cafeteria. Come learn about scouting opportunities for your sons and grandsons.
I would like to start collecting inexpensive gift cards to use at faculty meetings for staff drawings. When you are at the many places that offer gift cards, I’d appreciate any small donations to use for these drawings. Five dollar cards will be great! Thank you for helping!
