I hope you
were able to join us at our terrific carnival last Friday
night! Many thanks to Jill Hance (Ryan’s mom) and her
team! I wonder where she found those mysterious fortunetellers! |

Volunteers are needed to help with our Book Fair. It
will be November 12 – 15, Monday – Thursday from 2:30 – 4:00
p.m. in the Library and on Thursday evening from 6:30 – 8:30
p.m. during the PTA meeting. This is a great way to pitch in

Connect-Ed
is a new calling system put in place by RISD to enhance
communication between the district, schools and parents. I will
sometimes leave you a message telling you about an upcoming event,
or notifying you in case of an emergency. Dr. Simmons, our
superintendent, may leave you a message. The system also
automatically calls when your child is absent. Please continue to
send a note the day your child returns from being out sick. |

Volunteers are needed to help in our Library. You are welcome
anytime. Drop in when you come up to have lunch with your child
or come during your child’s library time. Questions? Contact

Thank you
for so many gift certificate donations for our staff drawings!
We have had donations from Beverly Curtis (Evan’s mom),
Georgina Brewer (Jace’s mom), Natalie Yancy (Noelle and Nylan’s
mom), Linda West (Simon and Nick’s mom), Madeleine Le (Jacob’s
mom) and others that are just left anonymously on my
desk!
